Fleetwood RV Launches the All-New 2004 Gearbox LSV Toy Hauler

August 6, 2003 — To accommodate the growing number of RV enthusiasts who enjoy the use of outdoor toys (motorcycles, ATV, dune buggies and snow-mobiles) as a form of recreation, the launch by Fleetwood RV of the 2004 Gearbox LSV (Lifestyle Support Vehicle) is a milestone event. Designed to haul the toys of choice to a remote setting and support extended periods of standalone RV camping, the Gearbox LSV provides utility, convenience and the luxuries associated with the RV lifestyle.

John Draheim, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, RV Group at Fleetwood explains, “The Gearbox LSV is Fleetwood’s calculated response to the burgeoning market for toys like ATVs, where annual new unit sales have risen from 160,000 units in 1992 to nearly a million new units sold in 2002. Fleetwood’s resources have allowed us to carefully measure and respond to customer needs. The all-new Gearbox LSV represents Fleetwood’s ability to bring to fruition a quality product that will truly meet the needs of its users.”

The Gearbox LSV will start shipping to dealers in late August, with manufacturer’s suggested retail price announced at that time.
