Fleetwood introduces two story manufactured home
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (April, 2001) -- Fleetwood Homes, a leading producer and retailer of manufactured housing, today announced the launch of the first model in its series of two-story manufactured homes. Additional two-story models will be available across the United States soon.
The demand for two-story housing is on the rise as land costs continue to increase. The Fleetwood two-story model meets the demands of developers, builders, and consumers who require additional square footage in their homes, yet require smaller home footprints.
"The introduction of the two-story home is another example of our commitment to building the best valued and finest housing for American families," said Bob Jordan, Fleetwood's Vice President of Housing Marketing. "This home also demonstrates our ability to quickly enter into new channels of business to meet the dynamic demands of the manufactured housing industry."
Fleetwood's two-story home debuting at the Cal Expo is 1,820 square feet and features four bedrooms and two and a half baths. The home also includes a wide array of amenities that consumers want in their dream home. The retail base price of the Fleetwood two-story home is $79,500 without options. Prices will vary at Fleetwood retailers across the country.
