The 2004 Rialta fuel efficient, highly maneuverable and well designed.
Story based on a press release from Winnebago Industries Unique in the RV industry, the 2004 Rialta motorhome from Winnebago Industries is a unique combination of fuel efficiency, maneuverability and innovative design. Built on a 7,275-lb. gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) Volkswagen chassis, the 22-foot Rialta boasts a powerful 2.8L V6 24 valve engine with 201 hp and offers 2,000-lb. of towing capacity. Its 16-inch low profile tires allow for easy cornering, while the four-wheel disc brakes, rear air springs, fully independent front suspension and four-speed automatic transmission provide easy handling and allows the Rialta to maneuver in tight places. Each of the Rialtas three floorplans feature a fully equipped galley, bathroom, dining/sleeping areas and a large, translucent skylight to provide plenty of natural light. The 22HD features a rear dinette with pull-up table that easily converts into a 50" x 79" sleeping area, while the 22QD offers two companion seats, found directly behind the cab area, which easily recline to create additional sleeping space (42" x 74") and feature the child seat anchorage latch system. The 22QD also offers a standard 9-inch color TV with remote and video cassette player. Lastly, the 22FD features a double-sized Serta mattress (twin Serta mattresses are optional), a spacious wardrobe and shirt closet and vanity with drawers. UNIQUE BATHROOM Driver and passenger will appreciate the comfort of the cab area with the lumbar support seats that also offer adjustable armrests and multi-adjustable recline and swivel/slide features. The Rialta features a new AM/FM Panasonic stereo with CD player and wireless remote (a deluxe sound system is also available), and an optional Sirius satellite radio thats also new for 2004. The Sirius satellite radio offers 100 channels of digital entertainment, with 60 commercial-free, original music channels. On hot days, the Rialta will keep you cool with a new high output Coleman Polar Cub roof mounted air conditioner (a high efficiency air conditioner is also available with an available heat strip). When its cool, the Rialta also has you covered with a heat pump option to the air conditioner to help distribute warm air throughout the entire motor home. The Rialta also features up to a 19,000 BTU furnace, 2,800-watt Onan Microlite generator and in 2004, adds a battery disconnect switch next to the entrance door for added convenience. Winnebago Industries offers a comprehensive 2-year/24,000-mile basic warranty with no deductible on the 2004 Rialta, with the warranty completely transferable for both Winnebago Industries and Volkswagen. Volkswagen also administers a 5-year/50,000-mile drive train warranty on the Rialta. Every new owner also automatically receives a free one-year membership in Winnebago Industries premium Roadside Assistance Program, offering 24-hour customer assistance and emergency service in addition to jump starting engines, fuel delivery, lockout and tire changing services.
