Fleetwood will Offer TracVision as Standard Option, including Internet-compatible system on some 2004 Coaches (June, 2003, Business Wire) KVH Industries has announced that Fleetwood Enterprises has expanded its use of the KVH TracVision(R) line of satellite TV antennas on its 2004 model year motor homes. Fleetwood will continue to offer the OEM-specific TracVision LF and TracVision SF systems, which were first included as standard options on the 2003 model year coaches. In addition, Fleetwood will now be offering KVH's premier TracVision L3 antenna as a standard option on its elite American Coach line of vehicles. "We are very pleased to have the opportunity to continue working with Fleetwood to ensure that their customers have the very finest in mobile satellite entertainment," said Ian Palmer, KVH's vice president of satellite sales. "The addition of the versatile TracVision L3 represents the next step in the evolution of our close, working relationship with Fleetwood, one of our premier OEM partners." KVH will supply Fleetwood with three members of its award-winning satellite TV product family: the in-motion TracVision L3 and TracVision LF systems, and TracVision SF, a stationary, self-acquiring system for use when the vehicle is parked. Each of these advanced systems provide access to more than 300 channels of digital TV programming and commercial-free music via the DIRECTV(R), DISH Network(TM), and ExpressVu services. In addition to satellite TV, the DVB(R)-compatible TracVision L3 can also provide in-motion access to high-speed Internet service via KVH's TracNet(TM) Mobile High-speed Internet System. The TracVision antennas will be installed aboard motor homes built at Fleetwood's manufacturing facilities in California, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. TracVision systems are available to Fleetwood customers through RiverPark, Inc., of Elkhart, Indiana, a leading distributor of KVH's satellite TV product line and other high-end electronics products. "We look forward to building on our strong partnership with KVH Industries during the coming year," remarked Mike Cloninger, Fleetwood's product development manager.
